Farm Updates & Website Facelift

For one thing, this web site is brand new, and sure to be evolving continually. We will do our best to keep it informative, with hints and tips on gardening, timely events in the area, and books and publications you might consider owning. There will be an on-line catalog as well coming soon. We’ll give you links to some great horticultural sites for you to visit. And we’ll try to add more as we think of it, or as you request it.

Effects of Increase Fuel Costs

All of us are reeling in response to the crisis in fuel costs now. This is particularly difficult in our case—we are in a rural area, and need to commute to work, pump our irrigation water, run our tractors and skid-steers, heat our greenhouses, and more. Clearly, we all need to conserve, and get the most out of what we already have. To help with gas mileage, we are now in the process of installing water-fueled hydrogen generators in our work vehicles. This should help lower our costs and decrease our pollution and impact upon the planet we so dearly love to call home. We will keep you posted as to our results . . . perhaps this might be something in your future as well.
